Five Below is seeking a Store Manager in New Jersey to lead daily operations, coach crew on the BEST customer service experience, and ensure fast, friendly checkout.

You will oversee stock receiving, training, sales driving, and store maintenance, while ensuring compliance with policies and safety. This hourly role starts at $16.42 and offers opportunities to develop leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members WOW the Customer through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing associate training on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures.
• Perform maintenance: clean, sweep, and maintain stock room.
