Job summary

Five Below is seeking a dedicated retail leader to oversee daily store operations, train and supervise associates, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will manage stock, assist with opening/closing, and support onboarding while driving sales and maintaining a high-energy store environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, flexibility to work day/evening/weekend shifts, and a commitment to safe, efficient store operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check-out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, including cash handling and security measures.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
