Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach crew, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will oversee opening/closing, stock organization, training, and compliance with policies, while partnering with store leadership to drive sales, control costs, and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment for guests and associates alike.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience; fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring performance and service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing, cash, alarms, and daily operations readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance: cleaning, stockroom, etc.
