Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Riverside, Ohio seeks an Operations Service Manager to lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams and oversee store operations in a fast-paced, off-price retail environment.

You will coach and develop associates, manage receiving and inventory accuracy, and partner with district and regional leaders to meet goals in a dynamic setting. Flexibility, physical capability, and 3+ years of retail management are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management or Store Operations experience at an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or large multi-unit retail organization.
• Experience leading Customer Service and Cashier teams and driving policy compliance.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.
• Ability to travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Service and Cashier teams, driving compliance to company policies and standards, safekeeping of funds and property, asset protection, sales, and record-keeping.
• Provide guidance to the Customer Service Supervisors to ensure they meet customer service expectations and smooth customer flow at registers.
• Manage the overall execution of operations and receiving SOPs.
• Lead the receiving process including transfers, debits, damages, and chargebacks and partner with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD); model leadership for customers and associates and drive results.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning.
• Assist in managing other store operations areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management teams.
