Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure seasonal areas are maintained.

The role includes opening/closing duties, processing directives, maintaining displays, handling inventory and payroll, and coaching Store Associates to uphold a positive, safe environment on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environment preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow directives.
• Maintain displays, inventory, payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
• Lead, train, and develop Store Associates; maintain safe, respectful environment.
