Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Oxnard, CA to help oversee daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop a high-performing team. You will assist with merchandise flow, scheduling, payroll, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to training and coaching employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
