Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Oxnard, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop a cohesive team. You will assist with store functions, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are well-maintained.

Responsibilities include assisting with openings and closings, processing directives, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environment preferred
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain store areas to company standards; clean and stocked floors
• Assist in processing directives, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
