Job summary

Dollar Tree in Sun City, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with daily duties, assist customers, manage merchandise flow, and ensure store conditions meet company standards.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling tasks, and enforcing store policies to maintain a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates. Part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
