Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with merchandise organization, staffing and loss prevention while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming store.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to train Store Associates, and the capacity to lift up to 55 lbs as part of routine duties. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and enforce company policies.
• Help supervise and train Store Associates; promote a safe, respectful environment.
