Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bullhead City, AZ. The role supports store operations, customer service, and team development while ensuring store standards and safety. Part-time position with duties across opening/closing, merchandising, and loss prevention.

You will assist in staffing, training, and supervising store associates, maintaining a clean, well-organized sales floor and stockroom, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder height.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment required.
• Reading and explaining operational directives as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain compliance.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and train/develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
