Job summary

Five Below in Springfield, IL is looking for an energetic Crew member who wows customers at checkout, assists with stocking, and helps keep the store running smoothly.

You may become Manager on Duty, participate in opening/closing procedures, train new associates, drive sales, and collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising.

A High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of management experience are preferred; flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers at checkout with friendly service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stock organization.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations and staff.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and training of associates to follow policies and procedures.
• Drive sales by improving merchandising and customer service, managing costs.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store standards.
• Perform store maintenance and upkeep as required.
