Job summary

Five Below Inc. seeks an energetic hourly leader in Skokie, IL to wow customers and manage daily store operations. You will supervise crew, model service excellence, and ensure fast, friendly checkout while maintaining store standards and safety.

Responsibilities include training associates, opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and driving sales while controlling costs. Starting wage is $15.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register regularly
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lb and place/remove up to 5–10 ft
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve stock
• Kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stockroom and on the sales floor
• Communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and stock room
• Work a flexible schedule including day/evening/weekends/overnight shifts and travel as required
• Follow instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and SOPs
• Remain upright for about 80% of the time
• Must be 18+ and able to perform all essential duties in compliance with laws
