Five Below in Sioux City, IA is seeking a part-time Store Manager on Duty to lead a team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise daily store operations, coordinate opening/closing procedures, and support training while driving sales and maintaining merchandising standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay starts at $11.50.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with friendly service at checkout and trains crew on customer experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure customer service excellence.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising and store procedures.
• Maintains store cleanliness and stock room organization.
