Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a Store Supervisor/Manager on Duty who will guide crew to wow customers, train staff on the BEST service, and oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment in Philadelphia.

You will open/close the store, secure cash, manage inventory, and support onboarding and training while driving sales and controlling expenses. Excellent communication and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact with guests.
• Trains crew on BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for fast placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, with responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures smooth daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Maintains stock room and performs store maintenance.
