Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Retail Associate with leadership experience to help open/close the store, handle cash, assist customers, and maintain inventory accuracy. This role emphasizes delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience while enforcing policies and ensuring compliance during shifts.

You will collaborate with the store team to greet customers, manage stock, operate registers, and support back-room operations, with a focus on service quality and sales support.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Engages with customers to resolve issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports displays and pricing as per policy.
• Assists with store operations, including vendor deliveries, paperwork, and general maintenance.
