Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store-based leader in Mississippi to help deliver a WOW customer experience. You will train crew, oversee daily store activities, and assist with merchandising and stock control to keep shelves ready for guests.

The role requires managing opening/closing, cash handling, and ensuring policies are followed. Excellent communication and multi-tasking are essential, with a flexible schedule including weekends and possible overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task is necessary.
• Creativity in problem solving is valued.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure is important.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the best customer service experience and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for quick shelf replenishment.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, including cash handling and security.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and recovery efforts.
• Performs routine store maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
