Job summary

Five Below in Austell, GA is seeking a Store Manager/Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, coach crew, and drive sales while delivering the WOW customer experience. You'll supervise store activities, assist with receiving, merchandising, and staff development, and act as Manager on Duty as needed in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent.
College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact.
Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check out.
Oversee daily activities of store associates; ensure performance and customer service.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing of new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
Act as Manager on Duty; responsible for store operations, staff, service, and urgent issues.
Manage opening/closing of store; secure cash, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and service.
Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
Perform store maintenance including cleaning, garbage, bathrooms, and stock room.
