Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within your district, combining customer service with property maintenance. You’ll develop customer relationships, meet sales goals, and handle leasing, payments, and daily operations on-site.

Expect daytime hours with possible Sunday variations, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and health plan options. Growth opportunities across the U.S. are available.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• This role also includes maintenance tasks and ensuring a clean, safe facility.
