Job summary

Marshalls in Virginia MN is seeking a motivated Store Associate to support store management in administrative tasks and to ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store.

This role models outstanding customer service, assists with interviewing and onboarding, and supports cash office and scheduling tasks while promoting labor compliance and store programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directions.
• Team player capable of working with peers and supervisors.
• Experience in training others or supervising staff is a plus.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports store management in executing store-related administrative functions.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent experience and maintains a clean, organized store.
• Assists with hiring activities (scheduling interviews, reference checks) and onboarding of new Associates.
• Maintains Associate personnel files and handles daily cash office functions.
• Supports scheduling, expense monitoring, inventory, and requisitions for Operations.
