DICK’S Sporting Goods, in Longview, TX, seeks an Assistant Store Manager of Operations to lead store execution in a fast-paced retail environment, focusing on efficiency, accuracy and delivering an exceptional athlete experience. You will coach Captains and teammates, manage scheduling and payroll, uphold merchandising standards, and drive programs that boost sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail management experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
1–3 years of retail management experience or related customer-focused leadership experience.
Strong coaching and leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and athlete experience.

Responsabilités

Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute annual business plans and forecasts.
Directly manage a team of Captains (Supervisors) and influence the broader store team through coaching.
Own staffing, payroll, and scheduling to align with budget goals and athlete traffic.
Ensure merchandising standards and floor sets are executed accurately and consistently.
Lead training initiatives and develop teammates to deliver elevated athlete experiences.
Hire, coach, and evaluate Captains and hourly teammates to maintain service excellence.
