Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of Off Field Operations to manage daily store activities, lead a team, and ensure efficient inventory and stockroom execution. You will partner with store leadership to implement plans that improve customer experiences and operational standards.

The role focuses on coaching teammates, building schedules, and driving store performance while upholding safety and company policies across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory, fulfillment, and stockroom operations to ensure fast, accurate store performance.
• Coach teammates, manage scheduling, and support hiring and onboarding processes.
• Maintain safety and loss prevention programs and enforce store policies.
• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences through knowledgeable product information and merchandising standards.
