Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is looking for a Store Operations Associate to help manage stores district-wide. You will build customer relationships, deliver standout service, and handle leasing and payments using our POS system.

The role covers both customer service and property maintenance, including daily walks, unit showings, and facility upkeep. A positive attitude, reliability, and Saturday availability are essential; some locations may require Sunday hours.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Able to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Able to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and climb or balance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls for late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks, cleaning units and grounds, opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines (restrooms, landscaping, parking, and decluttered offices).
