Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to support two key areas: Customer Service and Property Maintenance across assigned stores. You will interact with customers, help them find storage solutions, and manage leasing, payments via POS, and daily store tasks. This role requires a positive, self-driven mindset, weekend availability, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs. and walking the property.

Qualifications

• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and store grounds, opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs.), and general facility upkeep.
