Job summary

CubeSmart is hiring for a Store Operations Associate to support two core areas: customer service and property maintenance across stores in the district. You will build relationships, meet sales goals, and handle leasing, payments, and daily upkeep of facilities.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting units, selling store merchandise, managing leasing, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls about late payments.
• Walking the property daily for maintenance and safety checks.
• Cleaning units and store grounds, opening/closing doors, and ensuring clean, safe facilities.
