Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage in New York is hiring a Store Operations Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain our properties. You will welcome customers, assess storage needs, process leases, collect payments, and support daily store operations with a team-driven approach.

The role requires a friendly personality, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays. A valid driver’s license and transportation are preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Work both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, making daily deposits, and calling customers about late payments.
