Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Store Operations Analyst to join our auto parts team. The role centers on reviewing metrics such as RGNs, Core Accounts, Bad Debt, store billings, cycle counts, Pcard usage and cash variances, and presenting findings to field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable.
• Minimum five years of analytical experience; familiarity with store operations a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review store operations databases for accuracy of reported information.
• Submit reconciliation items daily, weekly, and monthly per policy.
• Analyze aged RGNs, discrepancies, and provide weekly updates on credit flow.
• Investigate credit discrepancies with distribution centers and vendors.
• Review accounts receivable bad debt trends and assist core account management.
• Ensure Pcard activity compliance and identify anomalies for Loss Prevention.
• Report anomalies to Loss Prevention.
• Review cash handling metrics and identify procedural issues with deposits and COD collections.
• Provide guidance on evolving analyst role with new store and supply chain systems.
