Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a dedicated Store Operations Analyst to join our auto parts team. The role focuses on reviewing metrics such as RGNs, Core Accounts, bad debt, store billings, cycle counts, Pcard usage, and cash variances to support reconciliation activities and improve controls.

You will present actionable insights to field leadership and work with Loss Prevention and Operations to identify opportunities and develop resolution plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least five years of analytical work experience; NAPA store experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel and other computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review store operations databases to ensure accuracy of reported information.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items as per company policies and procedures.
• Analyze aged RGNs and discrepancies, providing weekly updates on resolved and outstanding issues.
• Investigate credit discrepancies with distribution centers and the NAPA DCSC team.
• Review AR bad debt and Core Account management; support collections and root cause analyses.
• Review Pcard activity for compliance and identify anomalies for Loss Prevention review.
• Report anomalies to the loss prevention team.
• Assess cash handling metrics and store deposits variances.
• Support evolution of the analyst role with onboarding of enhanced store and supply chain systems.
