Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Store Operations Analyst to review and analyze metrics such as RGNs, Core Accounts, Bad Debt, store billings, cycle counts, Pcard usage and cash variances. The role focuses on reconciliation activities and providing actionable insights to field leadership.

Collaboration with Loss Prevention and Operations teams is required to identify operational and compliance opportunities and develop plans of resolution. Automotive industry knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least five years of analytical work experience; store experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review all store operations databases to ensure accuracy of reported information.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items as per company policies and procedures.
• Analyze aging RGN trends and discrepancies and provide weekly updates on resolutions.
• Investigate credit discrepancies with distribution centers, vendors, and NAPA DCSC team.
• Review AR bad debt trends and assist in collection and root cause analysis.
• Monitor Pcard activity for compliance and identify anomalies for Loss Prevention.
