Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Store Operations Analyst to analyze metrics such as RGNs, bad debt, and cash variances, and to support reconciliation activities across stores and distribution. You will present insights to field leadership, partner with Loss Prevention and Operations teams, and help identify operational and compliance improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
At least five years of analytical work experience; NAPA store experience is a plus.
Proficient in Excel and general computer skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Review store operations databases to ensure accuracy of reported information.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items per policy.
Analyze aged RGNs and discrepancies; provide weekly updates on credit flow.
Investigate credit discrepancies with distribution centers, vendors, and NAPA DCSC.
Review AR bad debt trends and assist with collections and root cause analysis.
Monitor Pcard activity for compliance and flag anomalies for Loss Prevention.
Report anomalies to loss prevention and support controls evolution.
Review cash handling metrics and store deposit processes.
