Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, cash handling, opening/closing duties, and overall staff leadership, ensuring customer service and adherence to corporate guidelines.

You will supervise associates, support onboarding and training, drive sales, maintain displays, and execute seasonal updates. A High School diploma and at least 2 years of management experience are required; strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring correct signage and promotions.
• Handles opening/closing duties, cash security, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and customer service quality.
• Supports onboarding/training of associates and policy knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Executes market plan and signage per guidelines, updates promotions.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
