Job summary

Five Below seeks a proactive store manager to lead daily operations, supervise associates, and deliver top-notch customer service. You will open and close the store, manage cash handling, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

You will oversee displays, promotions, merchandising, training, and staffing to maximize sales while controlling costs and following corporate guidelines. Flexibility in schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule.
• Customer service oriented with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking and organizing stock for quick store placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, signage and promotions per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing duties: cash, locks, alarms, daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, supervising staff and handling urgent issues.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives sales while controlling expenses and executing the market plan.
