Job summary

Five Below in the United States is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily store operations, oversee receiving, stock placement, and merchandising, and ensure a WOW customer experience.

You will supervise associates, manage opening/closing, handle cash and alarms, and drive sales while controlling expenses in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor
• Manages displays and signage for store sections, following corporate resets and seasonal updates
• Handles opening/closing the store, cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing operations, staff, and customer service
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures
• Drives sales and controls expenses by improving merchandising and staff performance
• Executes market plan and ensures promotions and inventory integrity are maintained
