Job summary

Five Below seeks a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations, supervise associates, and drive sales. You will oversee receiving, merchandising, and customer service with a focus on upholding company standards and promotions.

You will manage opening/closing, training, and inventory processes while ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming shopping experience for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing procedures: securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising store operations and staff.
• Leads daily activities of associates, ensuring performance and customer service excellence.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Executes the market plan with product placement and signage per corporate guidelines.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
