Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in NAMPA, ID seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including pricing, promotions, planograms, and visual standards. Lead workload planning and inventory control to ensure a customer-ready environment.

You will oversee SOP adherence, truck processing, in-stock accuracy, and Ship from Store fulfillment, partnering with leadership to align staffing and execution to business needs. Regular nights, weekends, and early mornings required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading store teams and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policies and standards are executed and team held accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership.
• Oversee truck execution, pricing, promotions, and planogram sets.
• Own workload planning, staffing alignment, and daily task prioritization.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy (SISO).
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute ads, price changes, and Ship from Store fulfillment.
• Handle RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Train and develop team members.
