Job summary

Five Below in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, open/close procedures, cash handling, and customer service. You will lead store associates, support onboarding and training, and ensure standards are met across all shifts.

You will drive sales, optimize merchandising, manage displays, and maintain inventory integrity following corporate guidelines. The role requires leadership, communication skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, signage, and promotions per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing duties: cash, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, directing store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Executes market plan and ensures inventory integrity.
