Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, cash handling, and customer service. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate merchandising, and drive sales through effective execution of the market plan.

The role requires high energy, strong communication, and the ability to train associates on policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Flexible scheduling is a must, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure and meet deadlines.
• College experience preferred; management experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Manages store displays, signage, and promotional updates per guidelines.
• Handles opening/closing procedures, cash, doors, alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising staff and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Executes market plan and inventory integrity across the store.
