Job summary

Five Below Inc. seeks a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations, supervise associates, and safeguard assets while delivering excellent customer service. This hourly role involves opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and executing corporate plans.

You will oversee staffing, training, and floor stewardship, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards, with a focus on sales growth and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays and seasonal updates.
• Manages opening/closing store operations including cash, doors, alarms.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and oversees store operations and staff.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Executes market plan with signage and product placement per guidelines.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity process is followed.
