Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced retail leader to serve as Manager on Duty, overseeing daily store operations, cash handling, and customer service excellence. You will manage staff, support training, and ensure displays and promotions align with corporate guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong verbal and written communication.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays and promotions per corporate guidelines.
• Drives opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, supervising store operations and staff as needed.
• Monitors daily activities of associates and provides coaching for performance.
• Supports onboarding and training of new hires on store policies and procedures.
• Looks for opportunities to boost sales through merchandising and customer service improvements.
• Executes market plans and maintains inventory integrity as directed by corporate guidelines.
