The Michaels toy? The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Emeryville, CA to drive merchandising and operational execution.

You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards to ensure competitive pricing and timely promotions. A strong focus on workload planning and inventory accuracy will enable a customer-ready store environment. Responsibilities include leading SOPs, providing MOD coverage, overseeing stock flow and in-store

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to supervise store operations, merchandising and inventory control.
• Strong workload planning and staffing alignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies, standards, and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes for unloading, sorting and merch flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor.
