Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Carrollwood, FL is hiring a Part-Time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution at the store level. Responsibilities include truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy and promotional execution to keep the store customer-ready.

You will partner with store leadership, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, train staff, and oversee Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN receiving to maintain in-stock readiness and strong asset

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Open availability including nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage; maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes for unloading and merchandising flow.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support clean, organized backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, packing and shipping accuracy.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures; shrink reduction.
• Train, coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices.
