Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead a team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales and support the store strategy while coaching Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to cultivate a high performing team.

This role requires 1–3 years of retail management, a high school diploma, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication with customers and team.
• Passionate about retail and fast-paced environments.
• Performance-driven and metrics oriented.
• Willing to work flexible hours including holidays.
• Able to use retail technology.
• Frequent movement around store, stockroom and office, up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
