Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Leader in Kenosha, WI to assist the Store Manager in driving SOP compliance, stock integrity, and customer-ready operations. You will lead daily tasks, coordinate staffing, and ensure floor leadership during shifts.

You will manage merchandising execution, pricing accuracy, and Ship-from-Store fulfillment while coaching a team to deliver exceptional service and store performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing SOPs and company programs.
• Strong merchandising and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOP adherence and company programs.
• Ensure store policies and standards are executed and team is accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck processing and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and align staffing with business needs.
• Oversee SISO routines for in-stock optimization and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and backroom.
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute price changes and ensure pricing integrity across systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and proper order handling.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and development.
