Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, pricing, and in-stock execution. You will lead with SOP adherence, planogram accuracy, and crew development to ensure a customer-ready store.

Responsibilities include truck flow, inventory accuracy, promotional execution, and Ship-from-Store processes, with focus on staffing alignment and operational continuity. 3+ years retail leadership required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and move throughout the store.
• Experience with merchandise flow, pricing changes, and promotional execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and Company programs adherence.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain store leadership on the floor.
• Lead truck execution, unload, sort, and stock flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movements.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time; maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Partner to strengthen Asset Protection practices.
