Job summary

The Merchandise Manager at Michaels drives merchandising execution and operational excellence across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards, ensuring accurate pricing and timely promotions for a customer-ready store.

You will lead and coach store teams, uphold SOPs, and coordinate staffing and tasks to align with business needs while maintaining strong asset protection and store performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure store conditions meet policies and standards.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merch flow.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization routines and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and in-store visual standards.
• Support a customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, pricing changes, and loss prevention measures.
• Oversee ship-from-store, RTVs and ASN receiving processes.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
