Job summary

Lidl US in Annapolis, MD seeks a Store Manager to lead store performance and develop a high‑performing team. You will own day‑to‑day operations, drive customer service excellence, and ensure safety and compliance.

You will recruit, train, and coach 15–60 team members, manage KPIs, and partner with corporate to sustain Lidl’s high‑quality, low-price shopping experience. This role demands hands‑on leadership and daily physical work.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1-2 years of management experience and a bachelor’s degree OR 3-5 years of management experience.
• Determination to complete every to-do list on time and hit store targets.
• Experience in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and de-escalation abilities.
• Willingness to perform physical store tasks daily.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and reach above 10 inches.
• ServSafe certification and state alcohol licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance and well-being of the store and its team (15–60 employees).
• Provide excellent customer service and be the lead contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement of store KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and develop your team.
• Hands-on support for cash handling, stocking, cleaning, and other tasks.
• Maintain a safe, productive working environment per policies and laws.
