Farmers Home Furniture is seeking candidates for its Store Manager Trainee (SMT) program. Trainees will rotate through in-store operations, Thrive Program rotations, and live training events to develop leadership skills and readiness for Store Manager responsibilities.

The program emphasizes completing all training requirements, supporting daily store functions, and potentially managing a location in the Store Manager's absence. Overnight travel may be required as part of training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three (3) years experience in practical supervisory retail and/or sales experience; must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and must be able to travel overnight.

Responsabilités

• Completes Farmers Academy training and Thrive Program rotations.
• Supports daily store operations including sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping, and general office functions.
• Operates point of sale systems and related tools; sells merchandise and processes payments.
• Assists with inventory counts, store displays, promotions, and sales events.
• May work across multiple store locations or manage a store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Travels to training locations and submits travel expenses per policy.
