Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations and lead a team toward a future management role. You will collaborate with district leadership, participate in interviews, and help ensure safety and training standards are met.

Eligible candidates will complete our certification programs, bring strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate automotive parts knowledge. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable and valued.

Qualifications

• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail store operations and team members.
• Partner with district/store management on recruiting, hiring, evaluating and promotions.
• Conduct training, performance evaluations, and assist in interviewing candidates.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, safety compliance, and KPI reporting.
• Support order fulfillment, price accuracy, and customer service excellence.
