Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company, a MFA Oil Company subsidiary, seeks Big O Management Trainees to learn store operations and leadership skills for managing a Big O Tire Store. You will assist with budgeting, profitability, training, and maintaining store appearance while ensuring adherence to operational procedures.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, complaint resolution, and delivering service standards. Training path includes hands-on exposure to all facets of store management and staff

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Possible state Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire.
• Ability to learn and use technical materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Managers and Territory Managers in store operations, including sales, office, and shop activities.
• Help recruit, train, and develop staff; implement company programs and policies.
• Set goals and strategies to meet budgeted sales, gross profit, expenses, and payroll objectives.
• Explain benefits of products/services to customers and promote merchandising and promotions.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and manage work orders; ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Assist in hiring processes, guide staff in resolving customer concerns, and lead weekly store meetings.
