Safelite Group in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and inventory while driving KPI performance and maintaining compliance with safety and company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, service orientation, and the ability to coach technicians to ensure high-quality installs and repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required or 5–7 years leadership/supervisory experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• 3+ years leadership experience in retail or service center environments.
• 3–5 years automotive or related retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
• Excellent communication with the ability to influence and engage a mobile workforce.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and present a professional appearance.
• Criminal background checks and physical requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations: opening/closing, cash handling, scheduling and inventory control.
• Drive KPI performance and ensure goals are met with strong customer service.
• Ensure SafeTech™ certified technicians and quality installs/repairs through coaching.
• Provide guidance on vehicle/equipment maintenance and recordkeeping.
• Respond promptly to client complaints and warranty issues to maintain service quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
