Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead a team, drive store sales, manage operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will implement strategies to achieve revenue goals and uphold the company’s standards of ethics and professionalism.

The role oversees up to 15 direct reports, with a total compensation range of $60,000 to $95,000 per year, including base, commission and bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in a retail sales leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, training, and support to sales teams to improve performance.
• Lead and supervise the entire employee life cycle including recruitment, training, development and succession planning.
• Enhance employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace culture.
• Model and teach product knowledge; champion brand strategy and customer experience.
• Align merchandising, pricing and product flow to company standards.
• Sustain store profitability by monitoring P&L and margins.
• Plan and execute sales promotions and events.
• Hold regular store meetings with staff.
• Ensure proper execution of systems and procedures.
